Anica McDonald
Executive Director
Anica McDonald comes to Proveer at Grande View with more than 10 years of management experience in the senior living industry. She graduated from The University of Alabama with a degree in Human Environmental Sciences. She is a Licensed Assisted Living Administrator. Anica has worked for both for-profit and nonprofit communities. She considers it an honor to have the opportunity to work with the residents each day with Proveer at Grande View, and her role to lead is effortless. In her free time, she enjoys being with her husband, 2 adult children, and dogs.
Libby O’Neal
Community Sales Director
Libby O’Neal has over 15 years in the senior living industry. Libby has a true passion and commitment to serving residents and their families with not only trust, but respect. Libby believes that understanding each family has their own journey is very important while building long-lasting relationships. In her free time, Libby is a sports fanatic (watching, not playing!) and enjoys SEC football and ACC basketball.
LaChandra Walker
Business Office Manager
LaChandra comes to Proveer at Grande View with over 20 years of experience in health care. She graduated from Virginia College-Birmingham as a Pharmacy Technician. In her free time, LaChandra loves to paint, be a positive influence, and spend time with family and friends. LaChandra is excited to give excellent customer service to anyone who has contact with Proveer at Grande View.
Monica Hill
Life Enrichment Director
Monica is Alabama born and raised. She went to Birmingham Southern College for photography. Monica fell in love with serving seniors in 2015 and has been a Life Enrichment Director ever since! Monica enjoys being a mom and wife to her family in her free time. Monica is excited to join the Proveer at Grande View Family. She’s tailoring an activity program based on residents’ interests, goals, and needs.
David Edwards
Director of Dining Services
David Edwards, a Birmingham native, is a dedicated chef with a strong culinary background in both the Marine Corps and the Army. With a B.A. in business administration and two years of law school under his belt, he brings a unique perspective to his culinary expertise. With over a decade of experience in Senior Living, David is committed to delighting people through his culinary creations. His mantra: “It’s all about making people happy with the food you provide.” In his leisure time, David frequents the gym and enjoys bowling.
Deondra Bizzell
Health and Wellness Director
Deondra has worked as a registered nurse for 13 years with experience in both the hospital and long-term care setting. She is a graduate of Lawson State Community College holding an ADN degree and recently completed her master’s in nursing from Chamberlain University. She loves nursing and spending time with her family and looks forward to helping you and your loved one achieve optimum health.
